Ralston's November Arena Nights Line Up With Guitars & Cadillacs' Weekends

October 29, 2026

What does a Friday night in Ralston look like once the Granary Green screen is off for the season? This November, the answer is mostly on Q Street. The Liberty First Credit Union Arena has Omaha Lancers hockey, El Fantasma, AEW Dynamite & Collision and Hairball on its calendar, and nearly all of them fall on Friday or Saturday nights.

Those weekend nights carry more weight this year because of what has changed at The Granary on Main Street. Guitars & Cadillacs, the country venue that left the Omaha metro in 2003, opened in the former Bushwackers space on March 19, 2026. That makes this its first November back. An arena night and a night out at The Granary used to be two separate plans, and in November they fit into one evening.

The Month Starts in Daylight

The first big arena event of November is a daytime one. The Autumn Festival, An Arts & Crafts Affair, runs Thursday, Nov. 5 through Sunday, Nov. 8, at the arena, 7300 Q Street. The Nebraska Arts Council listing says hundreds of artists and crafters sell handmade work there, and notes that the organizer's tour of shows is ranked among the Top 100 Shows in the Country by Sunshine Artist Magazine.

The details for festival weekend:

  • Thursday and Friday: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Saturday: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Sunday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Admission: $10 for adults, $9 for seniors, free for children under 10
  • Re-entry: one paid admission covers the whole weekend with a handstamp
  • Parking: free

The top of the Arts Council page shows a shorter 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. window, but the day-by-day hours above come from further down the same listing. Before you go, check the organizer's site at hpifestivals.com. The handstamp means you can split the trip, maybe a Thursday evening walk-through to look and a Saturday morning return to buy.

The 9 a.m. Saturday opening is the earliest start on the arena's November calendar, and it's the one November morning when breakfast is part of the plan. Lemon Tree Café at 7614 Main St. is a breakfast-and-lunch café, according to a Ralston neighborhood guide last updated in September 2026.

Then the Calendar Moves to Weekend Nights

After the festival packs up, the arena schedule changes shape. Here is the rest of November and the first weekend of December, from the arena's events page:

  1. Friday, Nov. 13, 7:05 p.m. Omaha Lancers vs. Sioux Falls
  2. Saturday, Nov. 14, 8 p.m. El Fantasma
  3. Friday, Nov. 20, 7:05 p.m. Omaha Lancers vs. Fargo
  4. Saturday, Nov. 21, 6:05 p.m. Omaha Lancers vs. Fargo
  5. Sunday, Nov. 22, 1 p.m. Creighton women's basketball vs. Nebraska, with tickets listed as "On Sale TBA"
  6. Wednesday, Nov. 25, 6:30 p.m. AEW Dynamite & Collision, billed as a Thanksgiving Eve show
  7. Saturday, Nov. 28, 8 p.m. Hairball
  8. Friday, Dec. 4, 7:05 p.m. Omaha Lancers vs. Sioux City
  9. Saturday, Dec. 5, 6:05 p.m. Omaha Lancers vs. Sioux Falls

Seven of those nine dates are a Friday or Saturday night. The two exceptions are a Sunday afternoon game and a wrestling show on the night before Thanksgiving. Those are also the nights Guitars & Cadillacs has a band on stage.

Guitars & Cadillacs Is Open on the Same Nights

When KMTV reported the opening in March, the venue planned to open Wednesday through Saturday, with live country music every Friday and Saturday and line and swing dancing every night. The station noted that Guitars & Cadillacs first opened in 1988 and was returning to the metro for the first time since closing in 2003. General manager Parker Davis told KMTV, "We are really glad to be back, it's been really great customer base for us and we have been hearing from people they would love to have us back since then."

The venue's own location page now lists 7401 Main in Ralston with a weekly Wednesday through Sunday public schedule. Its days have grown since opening, so check the current week before you go.

Both Lancers home weekends, Nov. 13 and 14 and Nov. 20 and 21, fall on nights KMTV reported for live country music. So do El Fantasma on Nov. 14 and Hairball on Nov. 28. The Thanksgiving Eve AEW show lands on a Wednesday, which falls within the opening-day schedule KMTV described. In practice, the arena lets out on a night when The Granary's dance floor is already going.

The early puck drops help too. The 6:05 p.m. Saturday Lancers games on Nov. 21 and Dec. 5 should end with most of the evening still ahead, so a night of hockey and line dancing fits on one calendar square.

The Rest of the Short List Near the Arena

Guitars & Cadillacs is the newest name on Main, and several other spots on nearby streets handle dinner before a game or a drink after one. The Ralston guide updated in September 2026 lists these with current hours. Check the hours yourself on a game night, since they change.

  • Lovely Brewing Company, 7628 Main St. The brewery's website says it pours its own beer along with cocktails, mocktails and snacks.
  • Maria's Mexican Restaurant, 7630 Burlington St. A sit-down dinner option that also takes online orders through its own site.
  • Village Bar, 5700 S. 77th St. Listed in the guide as a neighborhood bar.
  • Ralston Keno, 5130 S. 72nd St. Listed in the guide as a food-and-drink option next to the arena.
  • 72 Table & Tap, 5413 S. 72nd St. Food and drinks, with daily hours posted on its website.

Lovely Brewing, Lemon Tree Café and Maria's sit within a few addresses of each other around Main and Burlington, close to The Granary at 7401 Main. On a Lancers weekend, that cluster gives you dinner, a beer and a dance floor without moving the car between stops.

The Lot in Front of the Arena Is Still a Construction Site

If you drive in on 72nd Street, you'll pass the one corner that isn't serving anyone yet. GrowOmaha reported on July 3, 2026 that grading had started on a 1.81-acre parcel at the northwest corner of 72nd and P, in front of the arena, for a Chipotle and a 7 Brew Coffee. The report gave Chipotle a forecast of late 2026 or early 2027 and said no opening date had been announced for 7 Brew.

Neither one has an announced opening date, so a quick burrito or a drive-thru coffee before a 7:05 puck drop isn't an option in November. For now, a pregame meal near the arena means Main Street, Burlington Street or the 72nd Street spots listed above. Once those two buildings open, the arena will have quick-service food right at its front door. Until then, the Main Street places have the pre-event crowd to themselves.

The First Weekend of December

The arena's weekend pattern carries into December, with Lancers home games on Friday, Dec. 4 at 7:05 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 5 at 6:05 p.m. The next day, Sunday, Dec. 6, is Holiday Magic on the City of Ralston calendar. The city lists it as all day with "Schedule TBA." The program and times haven't been posted, so watch the city calendar for them.

That puts three days of things to do in a row from Dec. 4 to 6, with two hockey nights and then the city's own holiday event.

We keep track of what's opening and what's on the calendar in Ralston because the same details shape how people value a home here, from a new venue on Main Street to the construction at 72nd and P.
